Lucky Number Slevin Trailer

I just caught the Lucky Number Slevin trailer, and man I think it looks fantastic! The story already feel good (although a little like a darker WHile 9 Yards) and the cast is Un-Fricking-Believable! Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, Stanley Tucci, Den Kingsley, Lucy Liu, Josh Hartnett, Oliver Davis... on and on.

Here's the Lucky Number Slevin synopsis:

Set in the world of black and Jewish gangsters and spanning four decades, a thriller involving a Rabbi, a hit man, a horse and a case of mistaken identity.
I'm already totally sold on this one. It comes out on April 7th.

Saw this film 2 days ago here in the UK. It must be released here first? I really enjoyed it. Most surprising of all was the performance of Lucy Lui (who was the best thing in the movie), she was really warm! Ben Kingsley does another strange and very good performance.

The reveal at the end was expected really but still worth the wait.

Killer cast, killer movie.

I concur... Slevin rocks hard - very violent, nicely headspinning, Bruce Willis cooler than ever...

from what i can tell, the critics haven't been raving over this film. more of a case of style over substance.
incidently, this seems to be a pretty big us film, talent wise at least, so why is it released in the uk first?

The director is British so that might have something to do with why it is released here first.
