Hell's Angels Sueing Disney

MickeyMouse.jpgJust the concept of this made me giggle. It looks like the organization knows as "The Hell's Angels" (yes, THAT Hell's Angels) are taking the good folks over at Disney to court over what they are calling copyright infringement. Disney is being accused of using their name... they're also apparently set to use a copywriten image of the Hell's Angels in the film "Wild Hogs" that has yet to go into production yet.

Maybe we'll get lucky and the Angels will win and put a stop to production on this film. It's supposed to be about middle aged bikers and it's starring Martin Lawrence, John Travolta and Tim Allen. I hope the Hell's Angels have really good lawyers.

Looks good on Disney. They always have an army of lawyers attacking people and bitching and whining about people using there name and image. Not that long ago, they went after day cares and schools for having murals of Mickey and other characters on their walls.

Martin Lawrence, John Travolta and Tim Allen as middle-aged bikers in a Disney film? I sincerely hope Disney loses this court case and decides to just shitcan the whole project. It makes me a little sick just thinking about it.

I think it sounds really fun - plus, those three actors together just seems like an uncanny troupe....I don't know, I'd never imagine them or group them in a movie together, so it would be interesting to see how they coinside.
Plus, Tim Allen is one of my favorite actors, so I'm bias, I suppose. ;]

Generally, the Hells Angels have really good and dedicated lawyers. Years of legal harrassment have seen to that.
