Spielberg Ready To Roll On Indiana Jones 4!!!

This is terrific news... although not "in stone". Look like Steven Spielberg was giving an interview to an Israeli newspaper and let the following slip:

“I haven’t given up making entertaining films, but over the last decade I have been making some films that express the respect I have for history,” Spielberg said.

“I am about to make ‘Indiana Jones 4,’ which is, as far as I am concerned, the sweet dessert I give those who had to chow down on the bitter herbs that I’ve used in ‘Munich.’”

When you put that together with the fact that George Lucas has already said that he thinks Indiana Jones 4 would be ready to start production THIS YEAR and be released NEXT year, it certainly looks like all the pieces are FINALLY in place for Indy to start his final adventure.

Remember, this isn't exactly an "official announcement" from the big guys... but it's pretty darn close. I'd look for something official within the next 2 weeks. GLORY! (via)

This is the part where Indy's son is actually the main character....not his 80 year-old dad played by Harrison Ford...right??

Another Super Bowl halftime moment in the making.

I hope to Tom Cruise I'm wrong, but I have a sinking feeling that Indy IV might suck ass.

I hope I'm right and Indy 4 will wind up being the best thing since Thomas Edison's lightbulb.

Indy 4: best news so far this week in Hollywood.

I pray to God that it will be amazing. I've been waiting for this since the third grade when I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time.

Indiana Jones belongs to another time. Anyway, it would be nice to see him for a last time. Harrison Ford needs it, though I don´t care a shit.

However good this film can be, it will be critizised... if it happens. I have always doubted that. I can almost hear the bashers: Lucas and Spielberg together attract bashers more than shit does to flies.

Interesting comment from Spielberg: those "bitter herbs" are the best herbs cooked in Hollywood in years.

Nuff said!

Peter, relax, if I took your blood pressure now you'll be hypertensive!

I'd love a final installment to Indiana Jones.
