As much as I try to hold it in, I too am a Star Wars junkie. Especially the original films because of the childhood memories that surround the culture Star Wars created.

Phil Brown, thank you and may the force be with you; always.

I too am a closet Star wars super nerd.It is unfortunate that uncle Owen passed away, but lets be serious he was a little too concerned about how many droids would be available for the harvest.

First the leaked pictures of Colossus from X3, now this.

I grew up with Uncle Owen. As a kid, I would watch Star Wars, and just repeatedly rewind the two or three scenes he's in, watching his minute or so of dialogue over and over...amazed by his portrayal as Lukes uncle. He completely captured the essence of what it must've been like to be a moisture farmer on a planet made of sand.

Stronger words could not be said. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU PHIL BROWN, screen legend, beloved Uncle, minor character actor. A part of film history has died along with you. Let's just be thankful that we still have some of our favourite Uncles with us...Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince, Uncle Buck...in spirit, the Man From U.N.C.L.E....on dvd.

Now the question that must be asked, how can we move on?

The day we lose Uncle Phil is the day I stop living.

Too sad :(

He was terrific at his brief yet intense role. His glances at Beru when talking about Luke and his father... just great.

Never heard of the bloke.
Still, a 60 year career is not to be sniffed at.
