New Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest Poster

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 Poster.jpgI just loved the first Pirates of the Caribbean. It took me totally by surprise. The stupid thing stayed in the top 10 at the box office for longer than just about any other film I can remember in the last 5 years. And everyone knew a sequel was coming.

Now the poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest is on the web and it looks really sweet. Almost a "Star Wars" poster feel to it. I like it.

Still don't know that the new Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest is about? Here's aquick synopsis:

Captain Jack Sparrow is caught in yet another tangled web of supernatural intrigue. It turns out, Captain Jack owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, ruler of the ocean depths and captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. If Jack can't figure a crafty way out of this one, he'll be cursed to an afterlife of eternal servitude and damnation. And as if that weren't enough, Captain Jack's problems throw a huge wrench into the wedding plans of the blissful Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who quickly find themselves thrust into Jack's misadventures.
Sound like fun to me! The vusials are sure to look great since the wizards at ILM are in charge of the effects. July 7th can't get here soon enough for me.

Is this the new Pirates of the Caribbean plot or a Sponge Bob Squarepants episode????

Both. Orlando Bloom's character is going to be played by Patrick Starfish.

I just fear this is going to suck. Just watch the trailer as they SHOVE Jack Sparrow down our throats. In the first one, he was an awesome surprise. I fear I'll get sick of him in this one by the 30 minute mark. I hope not. Also, give Keira more to do!
