Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Together Again

Matt Damon and Ben AffleckSay what you want about either of them, but when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck work together... it just works. I loved Dogma, and I loved Good Will Hunting even more. These two guys just have a fantastic knack for bringing the best out of each other and produce excellent product when they do.

So now the two are hooking up again. The good folks over at Guardian give us this:

Scripted by Chris Murphy, the as-yet-untitled drama is based on the experiences of Philadelphia lawyers Michael Banks and J Gordon Cooney, who toiled for 15 years to save a wrongly convicted murderer from death row.
I'm up for it. I'm one of the few guys who actually thinks that Affleck is an underrated actor. He's got a lot of talent... but he just needs to lose the smugness and avoid comedies (unless he's working with Kevin Smith).

This could be a good thing. Just about the only thing i have ever really enjoyed Affleck in was Good Will Hunting, a film i really love. I agree that he is a bit overlooked as an actor, just needs to lose the smugness.

I loved Good Will Hunting I've watched it twice in one day like 2 weeks ago. I definately think Ben and Matt do really good together and Ben really needs a good movie under his belt after all those bombs he's been putting out lately.

Ben Affleck has never been good in any movie ever. Why this no-talent keeps getting hired is one of the great Hollywood mysteries.

I agree. I believe Affleck is a good actor, nad has had some good roles, he just needs to be more careful, like staying away from Lopez, lol, and some of the movies he has made... Gigli. I'm hoping this shall be a good movie.

The boys are back in town! Little older and hopefully a little wiser.
