Final Destination 3 Reviews

I wasn't that big of a fan of the first two Final Destination films. That being the case, you can imagine my lack of enthusiasm for Final Destination 3. oh look... they're on a roolercoaster this time. Cool. Yuk.

However, having said that, the early Final Destination 3 reviews are coming in and they don't look too bad. Not fantastic... but on the positive side for sure. Here's what some of the early reviews look like:

"The plot's pretty lame, the dialogue is downright hokey, and the characters are a bore, but somehow Final Destination 3 (an oxymoron if there ever was one) still delivers a certain degree of over-the-top amusement."
Michael Rechtshaffen, HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

"The notion of butchery as a spectator event notwithstanding, there's an almost admirably workmanlike quality to the way co- scenarists Glen Morgan and James Wong set up their characters for carnage like so many fleshy bowling pins."
Mark Holcomb, VILLAGE VOICE

"A reminder of how low a filmmaker will sink to pander to our most corrupt tendencies."
Ed Gonzalez, SLANT MAGAZINE

"Death finds gloriously grisly new ways to deal with teenagers who dare to spit in his face."
Edward Douglas, COMINGSOON.NET

So there you have it. Not too bad. As of this moment, Final Destination 3 is holding a respectable 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I expected worse. I'll let you know what I thought of it on Monday.
