Don't Come Knocking Trailer

The new Don't Come Knocking trailer is now online and it's a damn pleasant surprise. Every once in a while a project flies totally under my radar (which only means that I'm not very smart nor observant) that I've never heard of, and then suddenly I catch it's trailer and it knocks my socks off. Don't Come Knocking is one of those films.

The trailer is just terrific and has me just panting to see the film. It's got a fantastic cast with Sam Shepard, Tim Roth and Jessica Lang. The synopsis for Don't Come Knocking reads like this:

Howard Spence has seen better days. When he was younger he was a movie star, mostly in Westerns. At the age of sixty, Howard uses drugs, alcohol and young girls to avoid the painful truth that there are only supporting roles left for him to play. After yet another night of debauchery in his trailer, Howard awakens in disgust to find that he is still alive, but that nobody in the world would have missed him if he had died.
I thought the thing just looked frigging great. I can't wait to see it.
