1000 Words
Now this sounds like a fantastic idea for a film. According to the good folks over at Coming Soon, Dreamworks has picked up on a pitch for a project called 1000 words. The idea behind it is pretty simple, yet has a lot of interesting angles it could take.
The story focuses on a guy who learns that he only has 1000 words left that he can speak. After 1000 words he dies. COOL! Nothing has been said yet about what causes this (it's obviously something fantasy based and not medical). Man, this would really make you think hard about how important our words are. I'm dying to see how this concept fleshes out.

Sounds really interesting. Even if it does bomb, at least it's an original premise.

This could be a really interesting movie or it could be a total bomb. It will all depend on how they write it. I'd love to see something like this as a serious emotional movie and would hate to see it as a slapstick comedy.
