I was all excited this morning to see headlines across the Net about test footage of a Transformer in action from Industrial Light and Magic...unfortunately I couldn't post it and had to head into work so now it's lunchtime I started to post and found it's a hoax...still we have the link.

The link I originally found it through was at Twitch, but that's now dead and carrying the statement:

UPDATE: Don Murphy, the producer of the Transformer movie has posted at his messageboard that no test footage has been leaked, therefore this video is a fake.

You can see that message over at the Don Murphy message board. They haven't leaked anything and it's someone elses footage, they aren't even in a position to leak anything exciting yet.

However, if you want to see someone elses made up footage of a car transforming into a robot next to a human, then head over to FilmRot where they are hosting it, I shan't be bad and link directly to the file.

See what you think, head back here and speak...I think it looks great, but not what I would have expected from ILM...
