Killing Game concept
The creative forces behind A History of Violence are apparently working on an adaptation of another graphic novel called The Killing Game. The film portrays how the uber-rich play squad based shooting games, not on consoles, but in real life with teams of hired hitmen.
Sounds cool, but what's the plot in it? This is why a lot of videogame adaptations are failing because they aren't working on a developed plot, just a cool concept. According to Moviesonline the concept is from the graphic novel "Button Man: The Killing Game". Is it another ill-fated concept only film, do they have some work to do to bring in a good plotline, or would you be keen to see it just based on that alone?

Button Man was a fantastic, intelligent 2000AD comic (they recently republished some of it in Judge Dredd magazine) it's quite spylike in style, something like the ipcress files or more recently Bourne. From what I can remember the Button Man was a hitman and something backfired, resulting in him being on the run from pretty much everyone. It's one of those realistic comics, that would work well on screen.
