J-Lo's Carmen is panned

j-lo3.jpgApparently Taylor Hackford is saying that none of the Studios will take on his new project of a movie based on the opera Carmen featuring...Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo). He's claiming it's because the studios are scared of showing J-Lo in a movie where she dies...let me correct that for you. They're scared of having her in the movie.

You just have to look at her run, or rather fall, of movies of late. She's...how do you say...awful. Bad actress, bad singer...I mean lip syncer...Are these perhaps the reasons? I really don't think the public is not wanting to see her die in a movie, personally I'd love it, and really early on!

As Cinematical say, why not go and get another Latino actress...my bad, sorry...a Latino actress?

Couldn't agree with you more on that one!!!! :)
I still have nightmares of her "acting" abilities in such lovely films as Angel Eyes...WTF?!

She isn't very good. And I am surprised that she is still around.

ouch. i liked her in out of sight as well. she was ok in maid in manhattan. but she's never been outstanding( excpet for out of sight. maybe outsanding is too strong though, well cast maybe?). however since then, her acting ability has gone from bad to worse, whilst her diva stylings apparently have just escalated.
