Blue from Old School Dies

Patrick Cranshaw, the man who played the aged fraternity brother "Blue" in 2003's Old School has passed away from natural causes. I'm one of the very few people who actually thought Old School was overrated as a comedy, but the shots with "blue" always make me howl.

As CNN tells us, Cranshaw did a lot more than just Old School:

Throughout his career spanning nearly 50 years, Cranshaw had dozens of roles, including a bank teller in "Bonnie and Clyde" and a demolition derby owner in "Herbie: Fully Loaded" (2005). Other credits included "Bandolero" (1968), "Best in Show" (2000) and "The Hudsucker Proxy" (1994), as well as television series "Mork & Mindy" and "The Dukes of Hazzard."
An Old School 2 without Cranshaw just got a whole lot less interesting to me.

If I remember correctly he passed away in Old School. Somehow I doubt he would have been involved in the sequel. Still very sad to see him go... you're my boy Blue!
