Audio Edition - January 27th 2006

Greetings. Today on The Audio Edition Doug and I are joined by special return guest Sharon Dewitt. Together we discuss the fantastic news surrounding Toy Story 3. Jurassic Park 4 being put on the back burner. A little more about Indy 4. We talk a bit about the new Harrison Ford flick Firewall (man I HOPE that's good). The new Piper Perabo flick Imagine Me & You, REMINDING YOU ALL ABOUT THE BLOGGIES and the horrible news of Thandie Newton becoming the new Bond Girl. All this and a few things more.

You can download this installment of The Audio Edition here. And then go vote for us at the official 2006 Weblogs Awards site.

Great show as usual guys, nice to hear Sharon back again. As i have stated many times before, When is Doug's album coming out? His songs are just so full of passion and thoughtfulness. And where exactly is this palm tree where the Doug Nagy fan club can meet up and sacrifice someone under? P.S. Post some piccys of your ukulele up Doug it sounds just great to look at :D

Anyway I digress, Toy Story 3 cancellation is good news, Jobs being a billionaire is also kinda cool. You think Lucas would be pissed off that he sold off that part of Lucasfilm or was it going down the pan anyway?

Jurassic Park 4: I really don't think there is a need for another one, I really liked the first one, it scared the crap out of me when I was a kid and the CGI and puppet mix was a great way to make the film. I hope the project gets canned in favour for Indy 5 after Indy 4 makes a couple billion at the box office. :p

As to Thandie Newton I dunno, none of the recent Bond girls have been great, and neither have the films tbh. But I still have high hopes with Daniel Craig in it as Bond. The Bond girl is simply eye candy really. All they have to do is have sex with bond around the 30min mark, fall into mortal peril from the bad guy, then bond saves her, then they have sex again at the end.

Anyway, I must get back to the factory, whilst I sit here writing the chimps seem to slack off and I really need them working at 100% if you guys wanna get the Best Podcast award :p

Love the podcast, it was brought to my attention via the Bloggies which I ended up on in the first place because Whedonesque was nominated for it's tagline 'Joss the way we like it' (make note: Joss Whedon, not Josh :P)

It's a really funny show and on the bus to college it makes me laugh like an insane person, while everybody stares at me...

Oh and Doug, please never make that Dinosaur screech again, it hurts my ears. :(
