SAAB short stunt film

Yes, that's what I said, an operatic short film by SAAB, with SAAB's made in 1988 and a kick in the teeth to those people who all do their car stunts by CGI. This film is fun, especially if you are a keen car fan like myself. Set to various pieces of orchestra, some stunt drivers set about showing you what can be done with their cars seventeen years ago! It's all done with real cars and no CGI. Imagine what they could or would do now?

The video is available at Google through Autoblog, and not only shows some great car driving, but also superb direction and editing to get the music and the cars working so well together.

Take a look and see what you think. Some of the sections are pretty amazing for the time and the cars. In many ways these beat the BMW movies as the camera is set back, and the stunts are nothing to do with framing or editing.
