Bloodrayne trailer and Blog

Bloodrayne-Loken.jpgI'm not sure if the trailer at the official Bloodrayne site is one of those we've had on the site before or not, but it's there none the less, and it's pretty awful. As John said before, what the hell is Ben Kingsley doing?

Apart from that, there's a Director's Blog just been added, and it's not received much content, but does have three vindications of Uwe Boll from three of the actors.

Kristanna Loken: Uwe's great, I really like Uwe. He's got a very relaxed, easy going way about him and style, being which I work with very well.

Michael Madsen: Uwe is an interesting man, he has a good sense of humor which is important to get through a picture like this...at the end of the day it will be there.

Michelle Rodriguez: He's so technically connected with the project, that he has the ability to fix a problem in his head five different ways with just one shot. So its like Uwe doesn't think what going on, in front of the screen right now, he's thinking what's going to happen in post and how he can cut it up to manipulate it to look right...I think its good for this genre of movie making.

Mmm...you could take these comments any way really. There's not much content there yet, but expect it to come. It'll be interesting to hear more of Boll and of what the actors say about the project and working with him. Where's Kingsley's comments?

I've seen the trailer for this movie on tv a few times and it looks BAD.This movie looks like it should have been sent straight to DVD.

First, most anyone involved in a production would want the film to to as well as it can.

Second, it is possible Uwe may be a nice guy, easy to get along with.

Third, the indirect, unintentional smoking gun, out of the mouth of the lovely- talented -[but needs to drive 55 sober] actress Michelle Rodriguez: "So its like Uwe doesn't think what going on, in front of the screen right now, he's thinking what's going to happen in post and how he can cut it up to manipulate it to look right..." A better director, Michelle, would also be concerned with what goes on in principal photography.

But thanks my dear Michelle, because this helps explain the sloppy editing in Mr. Boll's films. This also helps explain the bad acting in his films: the actors themselves may not, overall, be bad. But if it is truth in what you say, Boll isn't getting the best performances out of his actors, and hasn't got a lot of good coverage to choose from in the editing room. Enjoy your quick paycheck, Ben Kingsley has, I'm sure.

4) The film opens against Underworld 2. All this is pointless.

I posted a comment. A bit of sarcasm. Hey, I couldn't help it, it was stronger than me. I wonder if they will delete my post, since there were no other comments. A bit strange. Maybe this is all fake, and they will write their own comments soon , like: "O, I think this movie, it deserves an oscar" or "I slept with Uwe Boll, and he knows what he is doing".

:)
