Will Ferrell and Jon Heder Figure Skating?
There is word blowing around that Will Ferrell and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) are going to be appearing together in a film about 2 male figure skaters. Oh my goodness.
Now, right off the top the idea sounds totally stupid and ridiculous... that is if anyone other than Will Ferrell was going to be the lead in it. The good folks over at AICN give us this little synopsis of the project:
Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as the leads, (are) a pair of male figure skaters. These guys are banned from the sport for getting into fisticuffs during the Winter Games. Years go by and the two enemies decide to work together in order to exploit a loophole in their banning which would allow them to compete in the pairs figure skating portion.Yeah it sounds idiotic... but man it has the potential for big laughs along the way too. Will Ferrell and Jon Heder as pairs figure skating partners? Come on! The very idea has to at least make you grin! Is there enough concept there for a full length film? I don't know... but Dodgeball didn't either and I thought it was hilarious. We'll wait and see.
