Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World Trailer
Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World is written by, directed by and stars Albert Brooks... which is totally good enough to get me pumped about seeing it. I think Brooks is one of the truly funniest and intelligent minds in comedy today. I still remember the first time I really noticed him... it was in the brilliant Broadcast News. Man he almost stole the whole show in that film.
Anyway, now he comes along with Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World. If you haven't heard of it yet... here's the simple synopsis:
To improve their relations with Muslim countries, The U.S. Government assigns comedian Albert Brooks to find out what makes the Muslim people laugh.That's it. The trailer looks wonderful and had me giggling from the very first line of it: "Millions of Muslims around the world hate our guts". Brooks has done some real stinkers... but you've gotta admire his moxy for doing a project like this one. I hope it's as funny as it looks.

The movie seems different and interesting. Keeping in touch with my family in the 2 countries, I have a very good idea about the humor gap between the U.S and them.
I hope the movie provides proper exposure to the culture and lifestyle, and is overall entertaining.

what is this bullshit?
India is *not* part of the Muslim world.
The country is 80% Hindu and the culture is based around Hindu culture.
This is rather insulting to Hindus to associate India with the Muslim world.

Cricket: Irfan pathan, zaher, etc rest ull know...
i know coz i read REAL indian Population Statics & ur just guessing 80% hindus..
Muslims Population in India is More than Pakistani Muslims..
And 1st indian Movie which was nominated 4 oscar was Mother India Produced ,Directed & written by a muslim & actress who plays mother is also Muslim..hero is hindu..so u see Muslim pop is more than hindu..
But indians few indian say its a hindu state UR WRONG..READY STATS of pop Then SAY...

Top of my list!! Looks Brilliant. I have never been disappointed in a Brooks film and from the trailer I am sure I am going to love this as well.
