Dungeon Siege Split into 2 films
File this one under "Oh good grief!" Hack director Uwe Boll has proclaimed that his ucoming Dungeon Siege film is "simply too epic to be confined by one film". How the hell does a guy proclaim his own crap as being "too epic"???
Anyway, according to CinemaEye, Boll has decided to pull a Kill Bill and split the film into 2 separate parts:
In true LORD OF THE RINGS fashion, the current cut of the film runs over 4 hours. So, no doubt inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s KILL BILL, he is splitting it into two “volumes.” The first volume has been retitled: IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A DUNGEON SIEGE TALE.Look, i in no way endorse the breaking of any laws... but I wouldn't loose any sleep is someone were to "accidentally" burn down this guys studio where the prints are being kept. Seriously... doesn ANYONE out there think this is going to be any good? If so... why?

I suppose there will be some people who will go see the first part of Dungeon Siege - hardcore fans of the actors, people who never heard of Uwe Boll etc. But I don't think they will make the same mistake twice. There should virtually be nobody going to see the second part.

This is the funniest thing I have read this week. More and more I am convinced that Boll is a comedic genius. He's like Andy Kaufman. Nobody is getting the joke! This whole Dungeon Siege thing is too much. Look at the people in this movie! These are not stupid people, well ok they are actors but come on, they know Boll's reputation. I'm telling you all right now, this is a huge joke and the actors are in on it and they have to be loving that people are not getting this. This movie will suck on an unimaginable scale because they want it to.

I thought the whole 96 minutes of Alone in the Dark was bad enough, now film patrons must suffer 3 hours + from the wrath of Uwe Boll.
But maybe this will be a turn around for Boll since some-how he has aquired top name actors (Ray Liotta, Jason Statham, Burt Reynolds and John Rhys-Davies).....................but don't take my word on it.
