Indie Gore: Troma's Poultrygeist! Attack of the Chicken Zombies

With all of the Indie talk as of lately I had to cover the new film from Troma Entertainment, "Poultrygeist! Attack of the Chicken Zombies". If you're not familiar with Troma Pictures then allow me to provide some primer. Troma is the horror Indie label that has brought us cult classics such as The Toxic Avenger and Rabid Grannies. They certainly are not movies scene in high acclaim, infact their horrible cheap low budget horror flicks with the worst story and acting you have ever scene. On the other hand, their frick'n hilarious. I bring up Poultrygeist! Attack of the Chicken Zombies because I had the special privilege to see the set for this film. Troma had filmed much of this movie in my home town of Buffalo N.Y, which makes sense, what better location to place a chicken zombie film than in the home town of the Buffalo Wing. New comers Allyson Sereboff and Kate Graham headline the hottie aspect of the movie and I do believe there is a guest appearance from adult film icon Ron Jeremy -but I have been wrong in the past-.

A movie about attacking giant chicken zombies is not going to be captivating, but these cheesy gore filled outrageous horror flicks are great for video nights with friends. You will go on for hours discussing the more horrible parts of the movie, and before you know it, you own the DVD. Do you think there is a place in the entertainment world for chicken zombies? Let us know your thoughts and keep your eyes out for "Poultrygeist! Attack of the Chicken Zombies", it's going to be fantastically unbearable.

And they have a fun way making this movie: They were looking for Chicken Zombies on IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462485/board/thread/24123544) - Brad, did you cross the line from a critic to an actor? ;-)
