Hey Look, It's Jim Carrey..and...umm.. Joel Schumacher.. Again. "Number 23" Gets Underway

As it turns out, this sucker has been churning in the pot since January, but Jim Carrey has hopped on board, so hey, I guess that makes it news...
See, here's the thing: Joel Schumacher is kind of hit n' miss - okay fine, more miss than hit. Though he'll never get Batman Forever or the punch-yourself-in-the-crotch-a-thon: Batman & Robin off of his resume, I have to hand it to him for making The Lost Boys. That's at least one score for ol' Joel. And granted, the guy has put together the odd drama that doesn't make him look like a complete goof. But enough about him...

..Enter Jim Carrey. Sure, sure - everyone has something to say about him, but while his dramatic movies don't ring up NEARLY as much in the box office: Truman Show, and especially Eternal Sunshine were spiffy beyond reason. (I never saw The Majestic, so don't even start..)

Variety and Comingsoon.net are saying that "Number 23" will be one of those "A man reads a book - to discover the book is about him and the book ends in murder" type deals. The filming of this sucker will occur later this year because both fellows had the time between films and martini breakfasts to shoot something. Good for them. My breakfast today consisted of cold potatoes. I'm actually serious.

Oh. Hi by the way. I'm not actually new - only to most of you.
