Hail Caesar!

When George Clooney and the Coen brothers work together, something just clicks. I was a big fan of O Brother Where Art Thou and enjoyed Intolerable Cruelty (as a side note, I also LOVED The Ladykillers). Now word is floating around that Clooney and the Coens may work together again on a new project called Hail, Caesar!

The good folks over at FilmForce give us this little tid bit:

the comedy about a 1920s theater troupe that stages a production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. The project is reportedly being viewed by the Coens as a completion of their Clooney-topped "idiot trilogy." Clooney has previously appeared in the Coen brothers flicks O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Intolerable Cruelty.
Sounds good. To me, George Clooney is the manifestation of the perfect movie star. He's classy, rugged good looks, very well spoken, does a good mix of big and small films and everything about him just oozes high class. All that and the man knows how to dress! Man, if I could take the 15 WORST things out of his closet and put them into mine... my wardrobe would jump 400% in quality.

I loved Intolerable Cruelty, but the others... euch. I didn't like so much, y'know. I find the movies the Coen bros. put out a hit and miss game. For instance, I also loved The Big Lebowski. I still laugh at it everytime it's on. Dunno if it comes down to the casting, the writing, the directing, or all three.

That's funny, I recal there already being a movie titles Hail Caesar, which stared Anthony Michael Hall, and Robert Downey Jr.

I will be looking forward to another film by the Coens starring Clooney. I really like O Brother and Cruelty was surprisingly entertaining. I don't really like Zeta-Jones but that movie was alot of fun. So I hope they do make another one together.
