Casanova trailer hits the web

Over at Monsters and Critics you can now see the Casanova trailer. Beware, it is only for Windows Media Player and you will have to adjust the view, but it's a decent trailer and looks to be an even better movie. An all star cast -well in my mind that is- with Heath Ledger as the most famous lover of our time, Casanova. Accompanying Ledger in the time period romantic comedy are Lauren Cohan, Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and Oliver Platt. The story is the same as always, Casanova is a desensitized ladies man who finally meets a women he can't stop thinking about - what a dilemma. Then there are many characters giving him advise and keeping him away, but aside from the story it's the cast that is making this one stick out for me. Jeremy Irons is amazing and has such a dynamic talent; from being a lover himself to an international terrorist with a stuttering problem. In addition it's nice to see Oliver Platt on the big screen again, this man impresses more times than not in my opinion and he always makes me laugh. Being an incredible lover and ladies man myself -contrary to popular belief-, I can really get into Ledger's role. Plus he needs a winner after the disappointing Brothers Grimm. Give the trailer a look and give us your thoughts. Do you feel this cast will be as strong as I do?
