Around The Web - Friday September 9th 2005

Around the Web is a daily feature where we highlight some of the days movie related stories from across the internet that we think you may find interesting. If you come across something that you think we should share with the rest of the world, please contact John with the link.

  • New Images from Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang I'm really looking forward to this one
  • New Clips from Flightplan Even with Jodie Foster I just can't seem to get excited about this one
  • Morgan Spurlock new documentary "Class Act" A look at the disapearance of arts education from American schools
  • Kiefer Sutherland confirms 24 The Movie Hmmm... 24 hours in real time in just 2 hours. Now this I gotta see.
  • Bruce Willis is a beauty contest judge for Miss Italia pagent Wow... sometimes life is rough
  • A History Of Violence clips Another one I'm looking forward to. I didn't care much for Mortensen in Hildago, so here's hoping this will serve as a better follow up for his King Aragorn role in Lord of the Rings
  • New Ewan McGregor project The Great Pretender
  • Jason Statham signs on for Crank the Transporter star has a HUGE career in front of him as an action hero in my opinion.

The 24 movie looks like it will be 2 hours of real time. Maybe they'll call it, "2"?

So looking forward to "A History of Violence", time for Mortensen to prove he is not just going to be remembered as Aragorn. ;-)

Saw the preview for Violence and I can't wait. It looks great and Ed Harris looks cool in it.
24 the movie? I don't know, mabey just call it Jack Bauer and base it on him. If they lost most of the Soap Opera story lines and love triangles and focus on his character and the action than yeah could be good.
