Westworld remake back on

We might have all thought that the remake of the classic Westworld (I thought it already had with Beyond and all the Jurassic movies) had been shelved when Arnie moved into politics. Yet acording to Coming Soon it's back on:

Jerry Weintraub's remake of Westworld is now a go, with The Cell director Tarsem set to direct. Variety says Schwarzenegger's reps insist he's not involved with the project at this point.

Arnie wasn't going to be playing the main robotic role, which is a surprise as I thought that was the strongest part in the original, who can forget the classic image of Yul Brynner going wild?

Despite my feelings about remakes, I actually like the idea of a remake on this one. The original looks extremely outdated and could actually be updated really well...could be I said! Are you keen for a remake of this movie? Who could take the Brynner role?

I'm not against a remake because I've resigned myself to the fact that Hollywood can't and won't leave well enough alone when it comes to remaking ANY movie. I'm fully expecting every movie ever made to be remade in the next few years, but that doesn't mean I have to watch them.

A current actor to reprise Yul Brynner's gunslinger in "Westworld?" Why, naturally, VIN DIESEL.

Of course, the fewer lines, the better.
