Red Eye Reviews

The very first trailer I saw for Red Eye blew me away. It also gave away much less of the plot than the more recent trailers. The first one made it look like some sort of Supernatural thriller. I was disappointed to see that it wasn't... but at the same time it still looked good and I've been looking forward to seeing it.

Well... the reviews for Red Eye are coming in and man they look VERY good. Both Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy are getting fantastic feedback for their performances in the film as well. Here's what some of the critics have to say about Red Eye:

"A good measure of the movie's white-knuckle fun comes from Craven's old-hand familiarity with the way thrillers tick, predicated on the smallest and most banal of missed connections, the kind that get an audience to go crazy."
Lisa Schwarzbaum, ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY

"Red Eye is a model of swiftness and efficiency, shrouded in a veil of secrecy."
Ed Gonzalez, SLANT MAGAZINE

"At last - the perfect summer film. Wes Craven delivers a quick, tense high. You gotta go!"
David Foucher, EDGE BOSTON

As of right now, Red Eye is holding a very impressive 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. I can't wait to check this one out this weekend!
