I'm far more excited but then a) I've never looked to major releases and b) a lot of the films slated to be shown at the indie cinemas were summer releases that we've only just gotten (2046, Me and You and Everyone We Know, Yes etc.)

But from that list...

1) Pretty Persuasion
2) History of Violence
3) Harry Potter
4) Shopgirl (loved the novella, hoping they get it right)

I don't recognise most of the movies listed there though. What the hell is up with another Austen film adaptation? Argh.

and Memoirs of a Geisha , Munich , and Firecracker. Assuming they come out this year.

Pudie, I think I read somewhere (here, maybe?) that "V for Vendetta" had been pushed back to a 2006 release. Some say it's for production reasons, others because of sensitivity to the recent London bombings.

Wow, no love for Wallace & Gromit? Genuinely looking forward to that one. Even leaving that aside, I can find 10 I'll likely Netflix (rarely make it out to theaters these days).

Saw 2 is the only one I'm looking forward to even though I know it cant live up to the first.

I think Arethusa is right about V for Vendetta being pushed back to 2006. I can't seem to be able to find the article about it though, but I do remember sobbing uncontrollably upon hearing the news.
