Ant & Dec movie gains stars
The movie with the British television duo Ant (Anthony Mcpartlin) & Dec (Declan Donnelly), Alien Autopsy, has gained a few decent names to the cast. From Rope of Silicon:
Bill Pullman and Harry Dean Stanton have joined the cast of Alien Autopsy...Alien Autopsy is a comedy about two friends who make a spoof documentary which they claim is footage of a secret autopsy on an extra-terrestrial. The film marks the feature debut of Jonny Campbell, the acclaimed director of the hit Channel 4 series Shameless. The script is by Will Davies. Production will begin next month in Los Angeles and London.
Wow! What a casting...I'm really looking forward to this because on TV these two are hilarious, it'll be interesting to see how they transfer to film, and also how Campbell manages to take his Directorial duties from the show Shameless to the big screen. Anyone else looking forward to this?

well the talent behind this seems... interesting. seems like an odd time for them to try the transition to film actors, in fact when was the last time they actully acted? byker grove 10 years ago? and were they any good? aprt from my reservations, it would be nice to see what will and jonny come up with.
as long as it isn't some ill conceived "comedy" in the vein of the spice girls or s club 7...

A reminder of why And n'Dec moving into film is a bad thing:
The Boys in Blue.
The Cannon and Ball movie made at the height of their fame and the same one that killed it.
Don't do it lads.
Or - a better idea for a comedy movie, since they are Toon mad:
