Walk the Line trailer

JoaquinPheonix-JohnnyCash.jpgHere it is, the trailer for the Johnny Cash bipoic Walk the Line starring the superb talents of Joaquin Phoenix as the Cash himself.

Unfortunately, as it seems to be going nowadays since I've rebuilt my PC, any streaming video through Windows Media Player just appears as a series of disconnected frames - WMP you are useless - so I've not been able to watch this trailer properly, but the frames I've seen of it and the audio makes me hungry for this movie.

Pheonix is a great talent, and he needs much more exciting and meaty material to get into, hopefully this movie is just the start of it. Usual rules of the trailer from movies.com apply, and actually I'm starting to like this. I'll post it, you guys review it.

Man I love Johnny Cash, his passing like any death was sad, but he lives on in his music. I was just now going to use some reference to his songs in a smart assy way, but I won't. AND HOLY CRAP!!! This movie looks phenomenal! The acting looks great, story of course looks great, and I am really really really excited about this film! Phoneix is perfect for the role, and if it was really him singing in the trailer, WOW! And I thought Kevin Spacy did good as Bobby Darin. And he did, but Phoniex captured Johny Cash so well it appears, I have never gotten this excited about a movie from just a trailer, NOT EVEN FROM SPIDER-MAN!

I listen to his music all the time, and my favorite song, as featured in the trailer, is Ring of Fire! This movie cannot go wrong, this is going to be 100% pure gold! The man in black will be in our hearts forever, and I........WOW, this movie,......FUCK SPIDER-MAN 3, I WANT TO SEE THIS!!!! {it's closer anyway :)}
Beautiful this movie is, B E A U TEA FUL this movie is, I WANT TO SEE IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything looks great, now on my short list of most anticipated films, THIS HAS PUSHED SPIDER-MAN 3 to #2, and Walk the Line is now at #1. I should change my name to Cashfan12! This trailer just made my day, I have a huge smile on my face now. Nov. 18, can't wait! I just fell into a ring of fire. And when November 18th does get here I'm gonna move, move on down the line, wanna get some love, a love that's truly fine, as I pay for my tickets and move on down the line and see the great Johnny Cash movie called Walk the Line.

Phoenix continues to impress with his last few roles...(he was the lone bright spot in The Village) and it looks like he has absolutelty drilled Cash...

Oscar worthy, you think?

I think we may just be looking at a sure fire nomination.

The one with the great guitar riff? I've been wondering, too.
