Jodie Foster Directing Sugar Kings
We don't see much of Jodie Foster these days, and so far trailers from her upcoming film Flightplan aren't giving me any shivers. But the woman seems to always make quality stuff, and I quite liked her film Little Man Tate which she also directed.
So now word is running around that Foster is set to direct the new film Sugar Kings. The good folks over at MovieWeb fill us in with this:
Kings, by screenwriters Ned Zeman and Daniel Barnz, is based on the Vanity Fair article In the Kingdom of Big Sugar by Marie Brenner.I've got to admit that anything with this lady in it catches my attention... and I'm extra interested in seeing her direct again. So this should be interesting. The story centers on a female lawyer, fresh out of law school, who teams with a veteran public-interest attorney to take on a powerful sugar baron on behalf of exploited migrant workers. Tribeca's Jane Rosenthal is producing.

Does anybody else think that Jodie Foster is just the hottest older chick in Hollywood? Or am I alone on this one?
