Happily N'Ever After Trailer

HappilyNEver.jpgWell, here comes another non-Pixar 3D animated film... and this one doesn't look so good. Happily N'Ever After is the name of the new flick with a HUGE collection of recognizable voices like Sigourney Weaver, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., George Carlin, Michael McShane, Patrick Warburton and Andy Dick. Will that make it good? I doubt it.

However, the concept of the film does sound interesting. The film is based on the classic Grimm Brothers fairy tales and looks at that world if the balance of good and evil were tipped in the wrong direction. Like I said, the IDEA sounds promising. But didn't Shrek already do the whole "playing around with the fairy tale" thing? Not to mention, the animation looks like it belongs on Saturday morning TV... in 2002.

But enough of that... go take a look at the trailer for yourselves and let me know what you think of it.

This movie looks fun, but the animarion could be better. We can't all expect CGI animated full length films to be as good as what Pixar can dish out. Even with Shreck, the animation was okay but I like Pixar's work better. These movies are all in good fun.

Heck, when watching the trailer I actually wanted to see more, this actually holds my interest pretty well. And i'm a big fan of George Carlin, Andy Dick, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Hearing actors voices and actresses in these animated movies are fun, especially when you know who the voice is but just can't remember the actors name.

Maybe The Tick will get some recognition for his decent acting skills in this movie, (well, voice acting that is)
And Andy Dick cracks me up, even though he acts like A. Dick everytime we see him on screen big or small. Looks like he got over that horrible meltdown he had.

It will be different to hear George Carlin's voice in a fairy tale movie but, he's great, and friken HILARIOUS!
