Eric Bana on Hulk 2

Who said that there was not going to be a second Hulk? Well according to SuperHero Hype through Comic Book Movie Eric Bana has said he's in:

I asked Eric when Hulk 2 is coming and he said "next year". I kept pushing and pushing, asking if he's definitely doing it, and is Jennifer Connelly?. "Yes, and No" he replied.

The game is afoot then. No Connelly but plenty Bana, and from all accounts next to no CGI and bags of body suit. So who to direct?

i like bana but the first hulk movie was such a mess. the audience i watched it with laughed the entire time, especially during nick nolte's nonsensical rant towards the end. people were also leaving in droves at that time too. hopefully, the 2nd movie will be a bit more true to the source material.

I agree with you ShoeString. I want the second to have such a good story and have action scenes that don't have our hero and villian turn into a friken memory bubble.

I don't know... I liked Hulk. I know a lot of people didn't. I heard it's one of those movies where you either love it or hate it. Some people said it was too "artsy", but I didn't think so either. The scene when he was running away from the helicopters was the high point for me.
Anyway, I don't really like what I've been reading about the studio trying to make a more "realistic" Hulk. I liked that he was 15 feet tall and growing. That was the comicbook Hulk (depending on which artist drew the Hulk, I guess) that I wanted to see. I don't want to see a lot of body suits.

The plot was really slow, but you can tell that they actually tried to make a good movie. The acting at times was a little rusty...but all in all I thought the movie was entertaining. I am in for a number 2 especially with Bana signed on...he is a really good actor and puts effort into his characters. As for the Hulk...make him more reckless and crazy like the comic books portray him as.
