Showgirls 2
I'm almost frightened to believe that this is true, but apparently it is. According to Twitch there is a big movement for Showgirls 2...the sequel that is, not some strange attempt at an innuendo, much like the majority of the original movie!
No cast or director yet but Showgirls 2 has a financial backer in Germany's Lighthouse Films and producers in Brad Krevoy and Donald Kushner.
Oh lord. Todd reckons it's pretty much guaranteed to make money. I would agree, if they don't just go cheap or softcore all the way, I mean there were the satirical touches of the movie that were actually quite entertaining. Not a classic movie by any means, but not dire.
Do you think this is an affront to all things cinema, or was the original not as bad as everyone made out at the time and the sequel could actually have some potential...especially with the bank?

Damn the first one sure did suck!!! The only reason I watched this is because Saved By The Bell's Elizibeth Berkely showed off her titties!!! The story sucked and was very cheesy and made me laugh when I guess it wasn't supposed to be funny. Whos tits will we get to see this time? Britney Spears? Probably, I don't want to see that though, she has really let herself go and destroyed all of her fans hearts with her crappy attitude on life, + shes stupid! I they really fix the story and put in "good" actors, and make it a a remake and not a sequel, this movie has potential to be very good. It doesn't hurt to try and fix things does it?
