November Trailer

I totally fell in love with Courteney Cox 11 years ago when she appeared in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Oh man... at the time I thought she was the most beautiful creature ever to grace my eyeballs. Still a stunningly attractive woman, Cox never really enjoyed big screen success.

Even with her mega hit on the small screen (Friends) the most she was able to muster as far as movies go were smaller parts in bad films. I always thought that was a waste of a really talented woman. However... now that Friends is done, it looks like she's turned her attention to her film career again.

I just caught this trailer for her new film November that looks just fantastic. Never heard of it? Well, the good folks over at MovieWeb give us this little synopsis:

After a dinner out, photographer Sophie Jacobs (Cox) and her boyfriend Hugh (Le Gros) stop at a corner store for a late night snack. While Sophie waits unaware in the car, Hugh is murdered in a violent robbery. Haunted by guilt, Sophie goes on with her life as best she can: teaching photography at a local art college, meeting her mother (Archer) for lunch, and visiting her therapist (Dunn). But one day at school, a slide mysteriously appears in the projector's carousel: an image of what looks like her car in front of the corner store the night of the shooting. Are these paranoid visions stemming from her grief and guilt, or does someone know something about the murder?
The trailer looks like it quite different from anything Cox has done before. Not a romantic comedy (which is a good move on her part). It definitely falls into the Psychological Thriller category. You can check out the trailer here.

Very cool trailer. This could be a decent use of her talents for a change.

I like Courteney too. IMO, among the FRIENDS women she is the most attractive. As for talent, I'd like to see her doing more films to show her range. And although I havent seen the trailer, I shall be very psyched to see this film.
