Dukes of Hazzard Trailer online

Also check out Rotten Tomatoes Dukes of Hazzard or FilmForce Dukes of Hazzard

I don't know what I feel about this just yet, the cast doesn't inspire me for anything more than a innuendo filled, dumb ass comedy, but the source material is something I did grow up with, and quite enjoyed. The Art of the Trailer has also been applied with much reverence and through Rope of Silicon can now be seen.

You know what, it actually looks like a lot of fun, okay there are all the ingredients for another poor comedy, but the trailer has been put together really well and it makes you take a second shot at it. Maybe it's not so bad after all, is it the magic of the trailer? Nostalgia can be a bad thing in Hollywood.

When I go to the link and click on hi-res for the windows player, it comes up as doc not found. Are there any other links out there? I don't want to install Quicktime. It generally fucks with my computer settings and eats my codecs. I can't go through that again.

whoa...from the trailer, this could suck almost as much as the TV show... Jessica Simpson as DD ...Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg...

Okay, if you took out all the dialogue, character development, storyline, white suits, bimbos, and piggish men, this movie might be worth seeing on pay pervu after you pirate the signal.

Yup, the car chases and that horn are the only thing this movie has going for it.

I am sorry but manjaw Jessica Simpson is NOT Daisy Duke. They should have cast Jessica Biel for this. This is another Simpson family that I wish would go away.

I am like John in that I grew up with the Dukes of Hazard. There are a few things that should be expected since even Bo & Luke were cheesy characters back then, but I wish to comment on Simpson's part. Daisy Dukes's part was similar to all female parts of that age: tall, slender, sexy, and a part that was to attract (i.e. Charlies Angels, Gilligan's Island and others with sexy females). Her character did more than one could expect from her short shorts, and perfect hair. But Simpson fits this part, both cinematically, and realistically. She's sexy: yes. She's tall: yes. Perfect hair: yes. Now, personally, I hate the dense skank, but I'm willing to give her a chance cuz whom else would be perfect for a perceived dumb blond part, than an ACTUAL dumb blond!! So kudos to Simpson for not realizing that she's actually right for the part. And let's pray that she can at least have her chicken-tuna on the set to keep her asking them infamous questions we all love. At least we'll get some good DVD material.

All of us who enjoyed the show in the 70's and 80's will see this either in the theater or on dvd. Starsky and Hutch was alot of fun. I'm crossing my fingers this is too.

Easy there, you don't want to go out on a limb with that statement.

After I post this comment, people will either read it or never actually see it.

Ok, yes I am a big fan of The Dukes of Hazzard and I grew up with them. From what I've seen of the trailer I think that it'll be good. Granted not as good as the original, but if you wanna see the original than buy it on DVD like I am. This is a different time and they've just modernized it a bit. So how about giving it a break and just take it for what it is, a remake of an old T.V show. Originally they wanted to cast a blonde as Daisy but Catherine Bach convinced them she would be a good Daisy and she was. That's all I got y'all, have fun.

it's driving me up a wall...what is the name of the song they used in the trailer?

Posted by: chris at June 11, 2005 07:51 PM

I believe the song used in the trailer is an updated or remixed version of "Black Betty". I Think the name of the Original artist Is "RamJam", But the version used in the trailer is by (I think) "Spiderbait".

Hope I helped !

The song used is.... here's some history... a remake of Black betty by Spiderbait. A remake its self. The original song was written in 1939 by Huddie Ledbetter. Also known as Leadbelly
