I'm dying to see this! The Silent Hill games are scarier than some of the best horror movies made. From the pics it looks like they are right on track with the scenery. Can't wait!

If the movie will be half as scary as the games, than it will be a great horror movie. Can't wait either!

The makers of this movie better not fuck it up. The games are awsome and still give me chills, the story line is deep and keeps the player guessing just what the fuck is going on. THis set up is perfect for a horror movie, i will probably lose all faith in Video Games to Film if this movie sucks. The only good video game adaptation into a movie has been, and probably will always be the first Resident Evil, and even that isn't saying much for a positive feed.

If the director screw the movie up, I'll send him to Silent Hill to get the idea of a real horror movie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just came from the set , with a few pics on my camera phone and no way to upload them since I am at work.

If you check the latest post about the casting news there's no way you'd expect the lead to be taken and Jolie taking a backing role. Especially considering the lead isn't a major actress.

Hell, I live in Brantford and I'm going to watch the outdoor filming on tuesday.

i love silent hill, my sister and i have been playing it snce we were young and now its coming out to cinema's! i wonder how the're gonna get the monsters to look real. so excited! It's meant to be a dad not a mum in it.

They have started filming centralia in brantford today...the set looks really good...the sad things is that brantford hasn't looked this good for over half a century..too bad they'll rip it al down when they're done...i may go down again tommorrow and watch

By the way , not sure if anyone else read the article in the Expositor today , but Centralia is now only the production name....it IS being released as Silent Hill ! YAY !

i was down by the site today it looks better than it did before they put everthing up. i wonder how much money the city will get for doing this,hopefully they will put it to good use like cleaning up the downtown area.

I live in Brantford and the changes to the town look pretty good for a scary movie. Funny thing is, not much WAS changed, yet it still looks better and scarier than ever lol

Wow eventhough the storyline will be kinda different than the original game. i mean instead of harry saving his daughter.. his wife does. i just wish they make it as good as the game. graphically, storyline and surroundings is a MUST in this movie. if they messed this up. ill be so damn dissapointed at them that i would even give a time to write the director a letter-of-a-dissapointed-fan.

Im not to keen on this silent hill movie! I’ve played all the games and im a big fan, but i don’t like the story line it doesn't make sense so far. i mean some people are saying that Harry masons wife is looking for their daughter! Well how can she if she's dead you fool! i don’t like that actors nearly all of them have never been in a horror movie. Im worried they'll stuff the story line around which they already have!!! Well if the movie is good then I’ll have to come back here a write a really long apology. Also for my final diss i doubt Akira Yamaoka isn't getting his say in most of this! And i doubt they'll even let him do the sound effects or the music, which he did for the game.

All i can say is that im sooooo excited theres a silent hill movie. But why the hell does everyone always have to change the real story? oh well, hey im greatful there even is a movie. ive been waiting for this moment for forever. silent hill kicks ass.

Hey i have been waiting a long time for a silent hill movie so im real excited i love all the game i just recently finsihed 3 and 4. 3 is my favorite i think from wat i read in the story line and credits that there are two characters from the games like Shanon and Dahlia. so i think this is think this is a prequel to the very first silent hill or maybe a few combined? i guess ill have to wait and see but im sure no matter wat this movie is gonna rock!!!!

i am a big fan of silent hill and the film better be good i have played and completed every silent hill game but the sotry line is a bit confusing i mean sharon and rose shouldnt it be harry and cheryl any way just make sure the movie is good dont spoil this legendary game by making the film shit and make sure samael looks really cool
