John is having a REALLY REALLY bad day!

I'm so mad I could spit. My lifeblood, my world, my very reason for being (I'm exagerating a little) is my laptop. Not only do I use it for all my work here on The Movie Blog... but I also use it for my classes (all my notes, reviews, assignments ect.).

My final exams start today (Monday morning). Yesterday, I went to Chapters (a Canadian version of Barnes and Nobel... only beter)to meet with a couple of classmates to study... I plugged in my laptop and BAM! The thing is toast!!! I'm so screwed!

So yeah, I spent the majority of yesterday frantically running around trying to find someone on a Sunday open after 5 to fix it... no luck.

So I won't be having any posts today. And now you know why. I'm so full of murderous rage I feel like I have the Vulcan Mateing Fever. Oh well.. I guess ti's time to get a new laptop. Grrrrr! This sucks.

Oh cruel world! Why dost thou spite me so?!?!

Oh John, sorry to hear about that. Hope your week picks up. :-)

...and I was the one stuck at the weekend with no access to my blog reader so I couldn't post. Well I hope I manage to keep everyone amused today.

Damn, hopefully the Audio Edition will still find its way up this week.

Oh, no, that's never good. Sorry to hear about it. I understand your fantic panic. Joe tells me stories all the time about his customers acting the same way you did about their computers. He has to let them calm down before he gives them the bad news that they need to purchase a new machine.

I truly empathise with your plight as my iBook is out of commission and I too am in the middle of exams. Hang in there!

Funny how things turn out to be the opposite of what you plan. It happens sometimes... specially on Mondays... damn!

Buy an external enclosure for 2.5" hard drives. Take your hard drive out of your toasted notebook and put it into the enclosure. You can then plug your hard drive to another computer via the enclosure's USB connector to access your files.

And if you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, it looks like this:

I am sorry to hear of your loss. It was it's time. Give it a good send off.
