Denzel Washington and Spike Lee reunite for Inside Man

I loved Malcom X. No, not the actual person, but the movie. I also thought He Got Game was a damn fine movie that I think a lot of people ignored just because of it's stupid title. In general, it's just safe to say that I've been pretty satisfied when Spike Lee and Denzel Washington have hooked up to do a project together.

Now it's being reported that the two are getting together again for their fourth project that will be called Inside Man. The good folks over at ComingSoon.com have this for us:

"It’s called Inside Man, and we start shooting it shortly after he finishes his run on Broadway. It’s something different for Denzel and me. This is our fourth time working together, and I’m looking forward to working with him again."
This is one of those Director/Actor combos that just seems to work well along the lines of Howard/Crowe or Spielberg/Neeson. I'm already looking forward to it.

John, I knew about the 2 movies you listed (MX and HGG), but you failed to mention their 3rd movie together... which one is that? I'm a big fan of both and would love to see it.

25th Hour is the only Lee film that I've really enjoyed. Denzel is always ood though.

1. First off He got game isn't a stupid title, you just aren't used to that terminology. It might be stupid to you, but if you know anything about basketball in the States you would love that title.
2. What's wrong with Malcom X? He was an important leader in the Black community.
3. Every spike lee movie is totally rad, it's just that his counterparts can't deal with real issues. He has had about 5 classic movies.
4. Denzel should have gotten an Oscar for Malcolm X and it should have won best picture.
