Baywatch gains writers

baywatchArt.jpgThere are many moments when you see an idea and just shake your head in disbelief, and it's amazing how many times I've been doing that since I joined the MovieBlog, and here we go again.

Coming Soon is reporting that writers are onboard for the Baywatch movie already. How can this be a good idea, and how can Dreamworks be thinking so? Surely they must have some spin that's going to make it a hit, or could this be a big flop for them? I'm thinking they have some new take on it that's really going to make it work, it's Dreamworks after all...surely?

Guess Who writers Jay Scherick and David Ronn are in talks to write the bigscreen version of Baywatch for DreamWorks Pictures, reports Variety.

Guess who's going to be starring? No really, do guess, because there is no word yet on any return of the regulars.
