New Revenge of the Sith Trailer News
I'm so excited. Ok, the good folks over at Cinema Blend have posted up some news bout the release of the new Revenge of the Sith full trailer:
* March 10th, 9PM - During the broadcast of The O.C. on FoxOh joy! i was planning on catching Robots anyway! This just ensures I'll see it on opening night (but even THIS won't make me watch OC the night before).
* March 10th - Shortly after the broadcast, it will become available to Star Wars: Hyperspace and AOL members (approx 9PM PST)
* March 10th - About 10 minutes later a bootleg of the Hyperspace file will no doubt propagate over Bittorrent, P2P and public webservers.
* March 11th - At theatres in front of screenings of Robots.
* March 14th - Starwars.com will run the trailer publicly, 4 days after the whole world has already downloaded it "illegally" anyway.
* Some time after this a hi-res version will be made available to Hyperspace members only. But as usual it'll get leaked publicly too so you really have to wonder why they bother any more. Oh yeah, some people are still dumb enough to give George money for it... silly me.

Like Richard, I have not seen the teaser trailer when I go to the cinemas here either. It was announced somewhere that it will be in the "Bridget Jones 2" film, but no, it wasnt there either. So I am sure I will miss this one altogether.

I am glad that everyone will have a chance to see it first on Fox and not have to pay to get a first glimpse. I am also thrilled that it will be tagged on with Robots, because, being a Ewan McGregor fan, I will be there opening day :)

What does it matter if we see the theatrical trailer now, or later? Is George losing that much money over a trailer? think about it. It's not the movie, so what the big deal.ITS JUST A TRAILER! I'm sure george will be crying with all his money, no worries alright people, who cares.

I've only got one bad thing to say. After watching the trailer at Star Wars Hyperspace where I had to drag myself out of bed at 5:30 in the morning, I am not prepared to bump Episode V: Empire Strikes Back as my favorite Star Wars film for all time and replace it with Episode III: Revenge of the Sith based on this trailer.
Hell, I am just gonna have to. Hell, I just did.

Yes indeed, this is excellent news. Since I never watch 'the OC' and the reception doesn't come in so well for Fox, I guess I'll just spend the 5 and a half hours it will take to download it on my pathetic modem and watch it that way.
I don't think I'm going to check out 'Robots' in the theater; hopefully the trailer will be attached to some other films that hit in March.
