Hellboy 2 to start filming
Hellboy rocked and I say that without any apology. Great fun movie, big actors, big story, big explosions, big chilli. Fab. So what happened to the sequel that has been talked about for a very, very long time? We've heard next to nothing...and that's pretty much nothing.
Rope of Silicon have something from E Online grabbing a quick word with Hellboy actor Ron Perlman.
There will be a sequel, it starts shooting "in the fall" (whatever that is!) and although nothing came out that was anything near exciting news, at least he can say he really enjoys the character. On answering the highly intelligent - and not reflecting the Hollywood trend of the moment at all - question "Will there be a trilogy?":
You know, you make them one at a time, but I would say that if there are more Hellboys in the future, then I'm very blessed, because he's a guy I could play every day for the rest of my life and never grow tired of.
Cool...well let's hope Hellboy 2 is bigger, better and more of the same. Anyone else looking out for this one?

When I first saw it I wasn't too thrilled, but then recently I was in the video store and the 2-Disc edition was sitting there on sale and I got excited to buy it. I guess now that it has had time to sit with me I realized how much I enjoyed it.

the hb script could have been better, but still i liked the actor's performances and i thought the ending was cool.
it had a different feel from other super-hero movies.

I loved the first hellboy movie and anyone who disagrees with me should get punched in the face. Ron Perlman is just as awesome as Bruce Campbell, in my opinion, and the more movies he is in, the better.

I certainly found it as enjoyable as any of the other comic book movies of recent years. A sequel is welcome with me.

I'm a big fan of Ron's anyway, but you don't have to be to love this movie. All the elements, Love, Action, intrige.
Can't wait for Hellboy 2!!!!

excellent...HB was a very good movie...another couple would be just fine...much better than the overhype spidey 2.
