Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy Trailer

The new trailer for The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy is now online and I've gotta admit it looks pretty darn sweet. I've been pretty pessimistic about this who project but first appearances would suggest cause for optimism.

Still, whenever you have a major and recognizable property like Hitchhiker's, there's always a high potential for disappointment. I'll see this one on opening day. You can see the trailer here.

Tom there should be an arrow beside where it says "now playing" to click that will start the trailer.

Actually, I think that looks pretty good.

I just pressed the big yellow play button to the right of the screen.

Looks pretty good. Never read the book though.

The trailer looks promising. I haven't read the book since high school, so I could definitely pick it up again.

Oh, goodness! I haven't read that book in a while, but now I really can't wait for the movie. I'll have to read the rest of that series before it comes out, too.
One thing that I like about the trailer is how the spaceship stuff has the old 60's vision of spaceships and not the sleek, stainless steel version we have today. That's perfect for Douglas Adams' book. Can't wait!

Ahhhhhhh...this was a real treat, watching the teaser trailer, again thanks for the link John!

Please let this be good, please, please ,please. As an Englishman I have nothing against the American people. But this story only works from an English perspective. If it is "Americanised" its going to be bad, bad, bad. If you are an American, please tell me what you think. Would you feel left out if it was so "English"?
