Fantastic Four falls from July 4th release

fantastic4poster.jpg20th Century Fox backed down first then, in the who's going to get July 4th release date battle, they've pulled Fantastic Four back to July 8th, pitching it against the might heavyweights of Bewitched and The Skeleton Key. Do you think that maybe they were a little concerned? Especially with all this rewriting and editing going on?

Check out Coming Soon for a list of the date rescheduling.

I am still excited to see "Fantastic Four", well mainly because of Ioan Grufudd and Chiklis.

This coming summer will be a blast with a lot of the good films coming out!

The trailer looks too cheesy.

I predict this is going to be a huge disappointment, both the final film and the box office take. The fact that Fox shifted the release suggests they're reworking this film and are concerned about the final product.

Wouldn't it be ironic if this version of FF turns out to be as bad as the Roger Corman version, only with more expensive and elaborate effects?

Keep hope alive y'all! I remember a movie called the 13th Warriror was delayed but it turned out al right. I'm sure that it will fine.

This movie has Jessica Alba so that means it has to be good she rocked in Dark Angel and knows how to fight it screams box office hit to me

I don't know....the director sounded far less than confident about it. The delay was to prevent competition against Tom Cruise's release but I sense the studios already apologizing. The rewrites are bad omens. Oh well...let's just wait for the next Spiderman sequel.
