Sundance presents: Jenny McCarthy's Dirty Love?!
I was shocked enough to find out that Dirty Love was even being made considering it came from the pen of Jenny McCarthy. However, it was, it is and it did. Now it's at the Sundance Film Festival, can you believe it? Doesn't that mean it's actually good?
Rope of Silicon are carrying the story with the quote from one of the Sundance writers John Cooper saying:
"The hijinks in Dirty Love are unforgettable and outrageous. With political correctness out of the question, Asher and McCarthy blithely bounce across a comic minefield where few dare to tread."
Now that is interesting, it must mean it's good! Like Brad over at RoS, I think I'll chuck in a pic of one of the stars for the blatant eye candy factor!

this didn't get into any competion at sundance. they rented a theatre and are showing it there. a common ploy for films that can't get in any competition

I don't know...it's playing as part of Park City at Midnight, which appears to be an official part of the Festival. It's officially listed at the Sundance website.

it didn't win a spot for a competition film. those are the films with prestige. jeeny's just there looking for a distributor because she can't find one. electra (ich) was not very good in the screening i saw...

I saw this movie last night at Sundance and it was hilarious!! Great movie, really well done.

Dirty Love sucked. the reveiwer was right. electra can't act and ruined the film. it was REALLY stupid and we've seen this before 10 million times but better....

Don’t dismiss Jenny McCarthy as an airhead – she looks the part – the stereotypical dumb blond – and plays that part. But read her autobiography (Jen-X) -- now out-of-date but you will get the point. She’s actually pretty bright. I have not idea how this movie has turned out but I refuse to dismiss her as a writer.
