Sandra Bullock Donates $1 Million to Tsunami Relief
Ok, say what you want about how rich she is and all that jazz... but a million dollars is still a million dollars. This lady just jumped about 5 notches up my personal respect ladder. Here's what the USA Today had to say:
Bullock, whose screen credits include Miss Congeniality,While You Were Sleeping and Speed, contacted the American Red Cross last week, the organization said Monday. She also donated $1 million after the Sept. 11 terror attacks. That a good word he used: "Leadership". I'm certainly not the biggest Bullock movie fan in the world, but I do admire the leadership she is showing. Here's hoping more of us can follow her lead. Good on ya Sandra."At this critical time, I am grateful to Sandra Bullock for once again demonstrating her leadership, compassion and belief in our global humanitarian mission," said American Red Cross President and Chief Executive Officer Marsha Evans in a statement. "Sandra continues to enable our lifesaving work and is a model for personal generosity."

Good for her.
Meanwhile, our President has to recruit his dad and Clinton to show the world he isn't so callous.
But, frankly, I'm not sure I can blame him -- he blew our funds on Iraq already. Guess who's gonna have to foot the bill for the relief funds, my fellow Americans?
