Deuce Bigalow 2 - My God Why?!?

Bigalow2.jpgI know there are many film savvy people out there... who for some reasons thought Deuce Bigalow was a funny movie. I wanted to like it, but the bottom line was that I found all the gags to be just pathetic at best and annoying at worst. Rob Schneider (bless his soul) is a fine addition to many casts in many films as a cameo or supporting character... but bumping him up to the "leading man" role has been one disaster after another.

Now, for some reason only known to the studio executives and Lucifer himself, a second Bigalow film is coming our way entitled "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo". Oh that's creative. And look, ha ha ha... I get it... the leaning tower is supposed to be his penis... ha ha ha. Oh that's so funny and clever (please note my sarcasm). Good grief, how do some people keep their jobs. The good folks over at Cinema Blend give us this synopsis:

This time around the fish tank cleaner turned man-whore and his he-pimp are parading around Europe for an all new adventure. Featuring Rob Schneider, Eddie Griffin, and yet another cameo appearance from Norm MacDonald, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo will hopefully NOT disappoint.
How can you be disappointed when you know well in advance the film will suck huge eggs?

If they would only just announce Freddy Got Fingered Again!, Big Momma's Beach House, and - hell, why not? - The Whole Eleven Yards, then my life would be complete...

Big Momma's House 2

(Also, great IMDb recommendations of our time: "If you like this title [Big Momma's House], we also recommend... After the Sunset (2004)" Er, are you sure about that?)

I for one, happen to love Douche Bigalow. I thought it had some really great setups like the narcaleptic chick or the one with Tourettes Syndrome. That's funny shit, kids!

What is it about films with American characters goofing off in Europe = Instant Comedy? Jesus no wonder hardly any of those countries would agree to join us in our adventuring in Iraq. We won't even give them respect in our cinema.

A lot of the movie was shot in my own Amsterdam. Can't wait to see all Dutch people turn into pot smoking sex addicts, as always in these kind of movies.

Like I always say, we can cry ans cry all we want and they still will make these pointless sequals. It's just another way to kill time and waste 8 bux. Not to mention, Rob Schneider isn't even that hot. Why would I want to sit around and watch him be an unsexy wanna be. Oh well, let's see what this has to offer.

I'm an extra in this movie in 2 scenes. It's going to be a very funny movie. I don't understand why you make such a big point of it, some people like it, some people, like you, don't.
In Holland this would be a very big succes! I'm sure of it, because we understand this kind of jokes. Maybe you don't understand it as American....????? But please don't make a big point of it, it is just a movie....

Duece Bigalow was an amazing movie. I don't know anyone who did not like it. I can't wait to see the sequal. Rob Schneider is hilarious. O'Doyle rules.

This person doesn't know anything about good fun comedy! Deuce is a classic! Great flick and I can't wait for Deuce 2! Go see it and don't listen to this narrow minded person.

Good movie? Probably not the best, but it's still my favorite for whatever reason. I will definitely see the new one in theatres.

I thought the first movie was a good laugh. It wasn't my favorite, but funny. I just wanted to comment on the fact most of the posts about this seem to be from people who liked the film; (Nothing wrong with that) I am just suprised at the lack of criticism, I expected some critical people to tear this apart. Way to go, Schneider fans unite... And see you at Deuce 2.

Deuce bigalow is a great film i dont care what no one says. Any one that looks into a film with that much detail is either sad or just watches chick flicks for a living . Deuce bigalow was comical genius at its best with funny gags at every second. Anyone with a sense of humour would find it funny. Deuce bigalow 2 looks even better and cannot wait.

Its funny and its a classic, a MUST see. Slightly Gross in many scenes, none-the-less, rather humerous. And seeing as it is a comedy, it succeeds in dishing out laughter. Well done. Contrary to opinions in previous reviews, it is not shit. If you want to watch something sophisticated and meaningful, goto carnes and watch the garbage continually being released there.
