Robert Burns biopic cast list
For those of you who don't know, Robert Burns (or Rabbie Burns as we would say) is one of the most famous Scottish artists of all time. Born in 1759, he became one of the most widely known poets of all time. Mainly after his death!
There have been a few attempts at some sort of movie before and also some links to some great Scottish actors, however, this one looks like it's going all the way.
With the talents of Gerard Butler, fresh from Phantom of the Opera, playing Rabbie himself, the cast list started off very well.
Julia Styles, Brian Cox, John Hannah, James McAvoy, James Cosmo, David O'Hara and David Hayman. With all but Styles and O'Hara being Scottish! Fantastic!
It's also written by Alan Sharp also of Scottish decent and writer of Rob Roy, amongst others. A really good Scottish feel to it, so I just hope they actually film in Scotland too!

Do you know when and where the production is getting filmed? oh also David o'Hara is Scottish.
