Angelina Jolie As The Next Bond Girl?
I'll go on record right now and say I think it would be a fantastic idea for Angelina Jolie to play the next Bod Girl/Villain. Yeah, she's sort of a creepy chick, and quite strange to boot, but you gotta tip your cap to her... the woman can do the most important thing: ACT. And she's as sexy as hell too. Perfect for Bond. The World Movie Magazine reports the following:
Angelina Jolie could soon be set to fulfil her lifelong dream - to be a Bond girl. The Oscar-winning actress, who is reportedly in talks with movie bosses to play a bikini-clad temptress in the next Bond film, announced at the Hollywood premiere of her latest film Alexander: "It's been a lifetime ambition of mine to play a 007 villain."Do it. I thought Brosnan was a great Bond, but even then I rarely went to see a Bond moive. If they are going to bring somebody in as Bond who I like less, than they better get a girl with the hotness of Jolie if they want me to ever pay to see another one.

with me...watching james bond is based solely on the sex appeal, i didnt watch bond movies until brosnan came into the picture and now that he's out, they better put someone just as fine in the role (cough) jude law. if (cough) jude law is bond and angelina jolie is the girl, i will definately take time out of my life to watch

Here's the problem with the Bond franchise in a nutshell: We're more interested in who's going to be the next Bond girl than we are in who's going to be Bond.
