Justin Timberlake Lands a Title Role: How Fricken Stupid
GRRR!!!! I can't believe how stupid some studios can be!!! I won't go into my whole "Stop handing out acting leads to famous music artists just because they're famous" rant again (If you want to read the rant, go here). All I'll say is that the follownig news from the good folks at Freeze Dried Movies has me wanting to chew through my own legs:
Justin Timberlake and Emile Hirsch are teaming to star in the Nick Cassavetes-directed "Alpha Dog". New Line Cinema is on board to distribute "Alpha Dog," which is inspired by the real-life story of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer -- to be played by Hirsch -- who became one of the youngest men ever to be on the FBI's most wanted list. Timberlake is attached to play the best friend of Hirsch's character, while Stone will play the mother of one of the film's leads.This frustrates me to no end.

Well, I am a Justin fan till I drop dead and I think that if he wanted to run for president he should, he has got my vote for sure all I disagree with him is why the hell did he have to propose to that insipid Cameron Diaz?!

I'd like to see Avril Lavigne in a movie, perhaps. Not Britney, Mandy Moore or Jessica -- Britney and Jessica I can understand how they got movies (Britney produced her own, Jessica's dad is a scary-determined manager), but how the fuck did Mandy Moore keep getting roles in mediocre films when she's been consistently medicore as an actor???
Anyway, going off topic...not saying I think Avril would be a good actor -- just wanna see that cutie pie nekid. Sigh.
