Bubba Ho-Tep Sequel!!!!
This is probably some of the best movie news I've heard all week. Bubba Ho-Tep director Don Coscarelli was recently interviewed and mentioned that it looks like a sequel will be made and that Bruce Campbell is interested in reprising his role as the aged Elvis. If you haven't seen Bubba Ho-Tep, get out to your local video store and grab it. It's one of the greatest low budget films you're ever going to see. Maybe the one of the genius distribution companies will actually pick this one up and put it in wide release.
"Things are looking quite good. MGM was very happy with the results in the States, the UK's looking very solid, there's a lot of fan interest in it - and Bruce would love to play some more of the old hound dog!"

I would still have to vote for the Nosferatu version. I am a sucker (pun intended) for vampire movies and for as many awful ones that I have watched it would be nice to have good one done. Obviously, it wouldn't be your typical type of vampire movie, but I will take it.

Just found this at Dark Horizons. Maybe I will get lucky.
No news on release dates yet, although Coscarelli has literally only come up with the title - "Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She Vampires".

At the end of the DVD release (after the credits) there was a caption that said, COMING SOON: BUBBA NOSFURATU

i would like to see a bubba frankenstein,that would be cool,i loved the first one and cant wait for the second one,the frankenstein thing was just a idea for a third one,keep up the good work,

Sweet! I hope they go with the Bubba Nosferatu idea instead of the Bubba Sasquatch one.
